About Us

Established in 2000 by former nurse, midwife and nursing home matron Janet Smith, we are a family-run, specialist agency providing highly qualified, experienced temporary staff to the UK healthcare sector. Our nurses and healthcare professionals  can be booked on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also offer Permanent recruitment through our sister company www.247recruitment.org.uk.

We are one of only 40 companies to have secured a place on the current Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework for the supply of Agency Nurses and Social Care Workers to the UK public sector and also LPP Framework (London Procurement Partnership) also known as North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative and in 2015 we achieved Platinum status following the annual audit. Recently we were successful with the HTE framework, so we can now proudly say we are on all three national frameworks.

Janet was recently recognised by Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement. She received the Highly Commended award for 'Woman of achievement in Business 2015'.
